“Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross daily, and follow me.”      Luke 9:23

Even Jesus could not carry His cross all the way, He was broken, He was exhausted, He was beaten, He could not go on. The Bible tells us He carried His cross, but never mentions how far or how long.  If Jesus cannot carry His own cross, how can we imagine that we can carry ours?  We need HIM, we need JESUS, just as He needed help, so do we.
